Occupational Health and HIV/AIDS Perceptions Study
The project aimed to study and analyse perceptions of HIV/AIDS and occupational health issues in the private sector in the Russian Federation. The study was conducted in Moscow district, St. Petersburg and Petrozavodsk. International Development Collaboration at STAKES was responsible for the part of study which, was conducted in St. Petersburg and Petrozavodsk. The results of the study created a base for possible workplace programmes and communication strategies within occupational health. The data was gathered mainly by interviews which were in-depth, confidential interviews of company directors, mid-level management and employees. The study was financed by International Finance Corporation (IFC) Trust Fund.
