Congress Office has negotiated favourable room prices and reserved rooms for the NFHK 2011 participants in three hotels in Turku. The hotels are located at a walking distance from the meeting. For accommodation and other venues of the congress, please see the congress map.

Please mark your hotel reservation on the registration form. Your reservation will be confirmed together with your participation. Note that the reservations will be made on “first come, first served” basis. The hotel quotas are valid until 2 months before the meeting. After that we cannot guarantee the availability of the hotel rooms, but will assist you in finding accommodation. Kindly inform the Congress Office of any changes in your accommodation reservation (congress(at)utu.fi). The hotel fees include breakfast, service and VAT. All hotel fees are payable directly to the hotels.

Holiday Inn Turku

The Holiday Inn Turku is well located, a few blocks away from the Market Square. Cosy interiors, international-class comfort and excellent service ensure a pleasant stay. The Holiday Inn Turku has 199 peaceful quality rooms, Finnish Sauna and a swimming pool. Brasserie Armada is described as a classy and cosy restaurant for delicious dining, meetings and socialising, and the Bar Hemingway’s as a cheerful place for get-togethers. Facilities include a business centre and a covered car park.

Reservation conditions
Reserved room will be held until 4 pm on the day of arrival. The hotel is entitled to give the room to another guest after 4 pm. If you plan to arrive after 4 pm, kindly fax your credit card information to the Congress Office to ensure that the room will be held until your arrival. You can fax the information using the authorisation form. Note that the hotel will charge your card only in case of late cancellation or no-show.
Room cancellation
A reserved room may be cancelled free of charge by 4 pm on the day of arrival. The hotel has the right to charge the guest for cancellations made after 4 pm on the day of arrival or no-shows.

Cumulus Turku is a friendly, service-minded city centre hotel, located adjacent to the Hotel Holiday Inn. The hotel has a total of 108 comfortable rooms, a cosy lobby and a bright and spacious breakfast restaurant. Customers also have two saunas and a covered car park at their disposal.

Newly renovated Sokos Hotel City Börs was opened in March 2008. This inexpensive hotel is located across the street from Sokos Hotel Hamburger Börs. The hotel has 60 spacious rooms. The services of Sokos Hotel Hamburger Börs are also available for the guest staying at City Börs.
