Pandemic vaccination coverage

The National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has collected the data on the number of people in Finland who had received the pandemic vaccination by 31 August 2010. The figures come from the electronic patient records of Finnish health centres. They may not include all the pandemic vaccinations given by private health-care providers, for instance occupational health care.

More than 2.7 million pandemic vaccinations were given in Finland. Vaccinations began in October 2009, and were discontinued on THL’s recommendation in August 2010.
