Library services

The Information Service serves mainly the institution's own staff. Our main services are lending, interlibrary services, information searches, user education and consultation.

Lending and interlibrary services

The library lends material (books and article copies) to external customers primarily as interlibrary loans. Interlibrary loans and article copies are chargeable services.

Ordering interlibrary loans

Customers may order interlibrary loans by contacting the nearest local library. The library then requests the loan and the material is sent to the library in question.

Information searches, user education and consultations

The Information Service team offers the following services:

• information searches, using central databases and information resources within the social and health care field
• user education; information search techiques, information searching in soecific databases
• consultations. Our main expertise is social and health care databases and planning and development of electronic libraries.

Information searches, user education and consultations are chargeable services.
