Projects

The National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has an extensive array of more than 1000 projects under its belt, most of them carried out in close collaboration with either Finnish or international partners. The quality of the projects is ensured through good understanding of and commitment to the principles of research ethics in drafting research plans. The research projects make good use of key THL registers and statistical data.

At the moment the list of THL's research projects covers only part of our projects, but it will be expanded and updated on a regular basis. ‘All projects' shows the all of the projects that have been added to the list, and ‘New projects' gives the list in chronological order. You can also try a free-text search to search for projects (‘Project search').
